Welcome
to A Blended Bonus, a place to share your struggles, victories, and
insights on being a bonus parent and being a part of a blended
family.
If you
are new to being a bonus parent, this is a place for you! I will be
sharing some of my experiences as a new bonus mom and some of
the things my blended family and I have learned along our
journey.
I am a
bonus mom and decided to begin A Blended Bonus after feeling
lost for so long. There is no manual to parenting, nonetheless, to
"step-parenting". Being a bonus parent has its hardships. I wanted to
provide a place that I have been in search of for some time. A place to share
our experiences and get advice on handling specific situations, as a bonus
parent.
My name
is Tyler, and I am a Bonus Mom to two beautiful teen girls. I
met my daughters, three years ago, when they were 10 and 11. We have had our
share of good days, and bad days. Regardless of the day, though, they are the
light to my world.
Keep a
look out for tips and advice on how to be the perfect role model for your bonus
child! I will also be sharing some guidance on how to ignore the little voice
inside your head, when you feel like nothing you do is right!
